Meet the Winners of Startups in Europe

Computer vision remains an extremely compelling application of artificial intelligence. Whether it’s recognizing elements on a battlefield or predicting crop yields, computer vision is arguably one of the most commercially valuable (and societally important) realms of AI. However, a rate-limiter to the adoption of the best computer vision capabilities is oftentimes the complexities associated with constructing a dataset and designing a simple end-to-end system that will perform your computer vision task on a new image. In this blog post, we will take a step-by-step look at how to tackle these issues with best-in-class tools like CVAT and MinIO Bucket Notifications. By the end of this post, you will be able to train an object detection model on a custom dataset and use it to make predictions whenever a new image appears. The Premise Let’s say we want to be able to recognize types of aircraft present in satellite imagery. Let’s also assume we are starting from scratch: no pre-built datasets, no pre-trained models. Here are two sample aircraft that we want to detect and recognize in our satellite imagery: The steps outlined in this post can be generalized to just about any domain. Instead of detecting aircraft types, we could be classifying land use or performing regression to predict crop yields. Beyond traditional images, we could also be training and performing inference on other types of multi-dimensional data like LiDAR point clouds or 3D Seismic Images; it becomes just a question of how the training data looks (and potentially a different deep learning model instead of YOLO). If you have more questions about what this would look like for a specific use case, feel free to make an issue on the GitHub ! repo Step 1: Acquiring and Managing Training Samples For this project, due in large part to not owning an on-demand imaging satellite, I visited airfields on Google Earth and took multiple screenshots of areas that had some of these planes visible. Assembling this set of images took quite some time, so I stored them all in a bucket on my MinIO server titled “object-detection.” In a production setting, the benefits of storing your collected samples on MinIO become even more prescient. Active-active replication, the highest levels of encryption, and super fast GET/PUTs (to name a few) mean that your diligently-collected samples will be highly available, safe and secure. Step 2: Creating the Dataset In order to train an object detection model for your use case, a labeled (or ‘annotated’) dataset is needed. A great tool for this is CVAT by OpenCV. A cool feature is that CVAT provides a utility to connect your MinIO bucket as a “cloud storage” in order to feed your bucket’s images directly to the dataset annotation tool. To do this, make sure that your MinIO Server’s host is accessible to the CVAT server, especially if you’re running MinIO Server on-premise or locally on your laptop. Also, as a note, there are two ways to use CVAT: (1) using their provided web app at or (2) running it locally. In either case, once you have CVAT open, click on “Cloud Storages” in the menu bar. From there, you can fill out a form to attach your (S3-Compatible) MinIO bucket: app.cvat.ai Let’s now create our new labeling task under “Tasks”: You should be prompted with a form to fill out: When creating the task, it’s important to define the class labels correctly (I defined two Rectangle labels titled “SU30” and “TU95,” corresponding to the two planes I wanted to detect): Now the remaining step is to attach our previously added MinIO bucket as a data source. Under “Select Files,” click “Cloud Storage” and fill in the name you provided for that source earlier. I used the name “minio-cv-bucket” above. The uploading process will take a few minutes. Once it’s completed, you should be able to see your annotation job available under “Jobs.” Now, by clicking on the job, you can start annotating each of your images. Warning: this can be a disproportionately time-consuming process. Generally, in a production environment with large annotation needs, it may be best to offload this task to a dedicated internal team or a third-party data labeling company. Once you’re done annotating, export the dataset in the YOLO format. Step 3: Organizing the Training Data Your exported dataset will be in the form of a zip file. Once you unzip it, the YOLO-formatted annotation text files will be within an enclosed folder. Feel free to take a look at them. In the YOLO format, each image’s annotations are in a text file where each line contains two corners of a bounding box and the class. The class number corresponds to the order in which you defined the labels when creating the task. So, in this example, 0 would correspond to Su-30, and 1 would correspond to Tu-95. At this point, create a new working directory (or enter one that you have already created). Within this directory, create a subdirectory called 'dataset.' Within ‘dataset’, create directories such that your working directory looks like this: my_cv_project (WORKING DIRECTORY)

		|----test You will now have to populate the train, val, and test subdirectories for both images and their corresponding annotations (the text files). It’s up to you how you want to retrieve and split up your samples. A good practice is to break up your total amount of training samples into 80% training, 10% validation, and 10% test. Make sure to randomly shuffle your images before partitioning them. Personally, I used MinIO Client’s in the command line to quickly retrieve all the images from my ‘object-detection’ bucket. Alternatively, if you have all your sample images in one place on your local computer already, you can directly work with that. Once I had all my samples in one place, I used a Python script to shuffle, split, and move my images and annotations to the train, val, and test directories. . Step 4: The Object Detection Model The current gold standard (in terms of performance and ease of use) for object recognition is the YOLO (You Only Look Once) class of models. At the time of writing, YOLOv8 is the latest version and is maintained as open-source by Ultralytics. YOLOv8 provides a simple API that we can leverage to train the model on our newly created annotations (and eventually run inference as well). Let’s download YOLOv8: $ pip install ultralytics We can now use the YOLOv8 CLI tool or Python SDK to train, validate, and predict. Refer to the YOLOv8 docs for further information. Step 5: Training In your working directory, define a YAML file that specifies the locations of the dataset and the details about the classes. Notice how the paths are the same as the ones I created earlier in the working directory. MinIO Bucket Notifications At a high level, we have 3 steps. First, we need to define an endpoint that can serve as a webhook to perform object detection on a new image with our trained model. Basic Understanding of ARIMA/SARIMA vs Auto ARIMA/SARIMA using Covid-19 Data Predictions

is a decentralized prediction market protocol built upon Ethereum which allows users to speculate on anything. Prediction markets are a sector ripe for disruption from blockchain technology; however, scalability problems and broader adoption remain as potential growth inhibitors when it comes to a project like Augur. Augur Reputation (REP) is the that serves as the backbone of the Augur ecosystem. Those who hold REP stake their tokens during the validation stage of prediction’s outcome. If a REP holder disagrees with the outcome reported, they can stake REP to challenge the result. These “reporters” are essentially declaring, with their REP, which market outcome actually matches the real-world outcome. REP can thus be viewed as a whose purpose is the assignment of value to the trustworthiness of reporters (or prospective reported-outcome-challengers) in a prediction market. Simply put, REP is only used for reporting and disputing event outcomes within Augur, while Ethereum is the currency actually traded on the protocol with the addition of in the upcoming upgrade. Technology Augur did not reinvent the wheel when it comes to blockchain technology; rather, it represents a smartly-coded, meticulous application of extant technologies—namely, Ethereum’s smart contracts—in order to facilitate the decentralized creation of prediction markets. While it came with no massive innovations in privacy or consensus mechanisms, Augur does represent a clean and practical application of , which is to be lauded. smart contract technology All actions within the Augur protocol such as matching and routing orders, processing trades, and resolving markets are all operated and run on the Ethereum blockchain itself through a set of smart contracts. Unsurprisingly, the use of centralized exchanges that facilitate the sales of Bitcoin has coincided with Bitcoin’s growth and gone parabolic. With this rise in exchange usage, this message needs stressed upon now more than ever. By extension, you should also make an effort to use exchanges that incorporate SegWit. This means they use SegWit transactions to handle transaction volume on the exchange. The past 6 months in the world of cryptocurrency has been extraordinary with all-time highs being recorded and within that time, I have received countless messages and questions from friends and family regarding this. Questions vary from ‘How do I start?’, ‘How do I buy bitcoin/ethereum and how are they different?’, ‘How much money will I win?’ and so on. I saw myself repeating the same answers and decided to write a 101 on how to get started, as well as providing valuable links and resources that are useful in the learning process. This article will lay out how to get started with a focus on security, ease and things you should take good note of, as many people will not pay attention to the ownership and storage of cryptocurrencies. A bit of background: In its simplest form, it is a digital currency that uses cryptography to facilitate secure transactions. Released in 2009, Bitcoin is the earliest cryptocurrency. What is a cryptocurrency? Bitcoin is a peer to peer payment system. These are the words of the anonymous creator of Bitcoin, Satoshi Nakamoto, in which he/she/they (Satoshi is still unknown till today) published a whitepaper in 2008 describing how Bitcoin works. It’s been nearly 9 years and Bitcoin has been going strong and is currently solving real problems such as providing cheap remittances and giving people financial freedom. Through the years, many other cryptocurrencies/tokens have emerged, Ethereum being the most well-known after Bitcoin. Now there is an estimated 1000+ cryptocurrencies that have been created after Bitcoin, each, allegedly, trying to serve a different function. The fact people can create their own programmable ‘money’, ‘asset’ or ‘commodity’ which cannot be controlled by the governments or banks is a pretty big deal and they have already begun noticing this unstoppable trend. Whenever I get asked how to invest into cryptocurrencies, I always say first about them, don’t just read papers or articles that say Bitcoin or another coin will be $XXXX by the end of the year. Understand the problem this particular cryptocurrency is trying to solve, its value proposition and its mechanics. learn and read I do recommend before understanding how other cryptocurrencies function because: learning about Bitcoin first A. Every whitepaper of a new digital currency/project will mention Bitcoin and state how they are different. So if you want to look at how different cryptocurrenices function, Bitcoin serves as a good starting point and foundation. When banks and consultancies do their research, more often than not, it starts off with Bitcoin first before delving off into creating their own projects Bitcoin provides a foundation. Blockchain B. Learning about Bitcoin may mean trying to understand a bit more on the technical side, but that’s ok because many non-technical people have understood and grasped the value proposition behind Bitcoin through learning its mechanics, the way it works and a bit of patience. All of the ways to buy Bitcoin and cryptocurrency will allow one or more of the payment methods. Wallet A “wallet” is like a cryptocurrency bank account. It allows you to receive cryptocurrencies, store them, and send them to others. Most only provide support for one crypto, and that one crypto is Bitcoin. Some wallets provide the service of buying Bitcoins from the wallet itself which directs you to a third party. For example, Blockchain.info allows direct purchases of Bitcoin within the app. Online Exchange This is a market place for buyers and sellers to come to one place and trade cryptocurrencies. There are many exchanges where you can buy Bitcoins and other cryptocurrencies which support major fiat currencies such as the Dollar, Euro, Pounds, Renminbi and more. You can compare different exchanges and pick one according to your location and currency requirements . here Peer to Peer/Over the Counter is a great resource where you can buy Bitcoins locally, peer to peer. This may not be your cup of tea since you are dealing with a person you do not know, but Local Bitcoins truly shows the huge decetralisation aspect of Bitcoin where you can buy Bitcoins even if there are no exchanges present. LocalBitcoins Alternatively, if you know someone selling Bitcoins, you can directly buy from them where they can send Bitcoins directly to your wallet and avoids the man in the middle (I.e. the bitcoin exchanges and the relative fees associated with them). Now the very important bit! As I mentioned above, there are fundamental characteristics that are very important to be aware of when it comes to wallets and cryptocurrencies in general. These are and . ownership of private keys wallet types Ownership of private keys Cryptocurrencies use very interesting properties from cryptography known as public and private keys. Its easy to understand this through a vending machine example. ‘Anyone can put their money inside the machine but they can’t take out the money because they don’t have the key, they can only put money in the machine. The only person who can take out the money is the owner of the machine who has the key. In this example, the vending machine is the public address which anyone uses to send money to you. You are the machine owner, and the key that you are carrying is your private key. Using this private key, only you can access your money and do what you please with it.’ Credit to BlockGeeks for this analogy. So the public key is a public address where people send money to you and the private key is used to access that money and send it to others. So it is of utmost importance you retain possession of that private key. If you are not in possession of your private key, then you do not control your cryptocurrency Wallet types The way you store your Bitcoins is by having a Bitcoin wallet which generates the above keys for you. There are many different types of wallets which you know about before buying and storing your Bitcoins or other cryptocurrencies for that matter. MUST Some wallets (e.g. a wallet on any Online Exchange) for you and some wallets give you (e.g. Mycellium app and Hardware wallets) hold your private keys full control of your private keys To know these wallet types, this does an awesome job at explaining it all. How blockchain can mobilize a community to provide Internet for each other and create a new sharing economy My goal and dream for the past few years has been to replace Internet Service Providers (ISPs) through the power of the community. So I set out a personal and professional journey to start which stands for the OISP, Open Internet Socialization Project. I thought I was being clever with an initialism like that, but then I started saying it out loud in conversation. Even so, I can’t think of a more concise set of words to describe what my team and I are trying to do. The core principle is simple: Members of a community own the means for delivering Internet to each other. They also profit from that delivery. This is what I mean by Socialization. Shared costs, but also shared profits. We, the community, share in the cost and effort of being our own ISP together. We also share in the profit of that communal utility. What does this look like? Instead of paying ISPs, you pay your neighbor for offering Internet access to you. Money stays in the community and Internet ends up being much cheaper. Before we dive into the details, let’s ask an important question. Do we really need to change the way we get Internet? The Future of Communication Comic by Milt Priggee . We paid for the infrastructure that ISPs use and we still find ourselves with some of the slowest Internet in the developed world. On top of that, we don’t even pay a fair price for it. Over the last 25 years, American taxpayers have paid $400 billion ($5000 per household) to make sure that we get Internet . ISPs own that infrastructure that we, the taxpayers, paid for, and yet they reap exorbitant rewards. Now that they own the infrastructure and are billion dollar corporations, they lobby to weaken net neutrality even though the population is overwhelmingly for a free and open Internet. Again, all of this is to privatize profits at the expense of the taxpayer. This ends up being an example of socialized costs and privatized profits I think it’s important to remind ourselves that this is the future of the Internet we’re talking about. We’ve had the ability to communicate with anyone on Earth in a matter of milliseconds for all of 0.5% of human civilization. Right now we are at the crossroads where the future of how humans will learn, connect, feel, and create a living will be decided. What if any aspect of that goes against the bottom line of the ISPs? Can we count on them to look after our digital liberties when they have a fiduciary responsibility to maximize profit? That’s a lot of trust to put in corporation. any Suppose ISPs go the way of maximizing profit. If customers don’t like ISPs throttling their connection, or selling their browser history, then surely they can shape the industry by taking that money elsewhere, right? This is the hallmark of a free market and how consumers hold industries accountable — with their wallet. Internet access is considered a human right, so it would be unreasonable to go without it. That leaves taking your money to a competitor. But what if competition is limited? The power of our cumulative wallets that we’re supposed to have is worthless if we can’t take our money elsewhere. If customers can’t take their money elsewhere, then that accountability is gone. When the future of communication is at stake, accountability shouldn’t be a ridiculous thing to ask for. Unless we do something differently, it’s fair to say that our power is limited. After all, ISPs have a lot of money, competition is limited, and they own the infrastructure. This all sounds incredibly bleak, but there’s a curious route for defiance rooted in a simple question: Who says ISPs have to own the infrastructure? Can we come together with the technology we have today to deliver Internet to each other so we don’t need them? These are the questions OISP aims to address, and we’re starting with communities. Any margin is divided among community members who help contribute to the network. Let’s expand on these points to see what shared infrastructure looks like. Wireless Hardware as Infrastructure When thinking about Andrena and the infrastructure/hardware you can imagine something like your wireless home router on steroids. It still provides a hotspot at home, but it’s also designed to interconnect with other users that have their own hardware. This is what we mean by . If you’re connected to your neighbor and he’s one step closer to Google.com than you are, he’ll deliver that data to your devices. delivering Internet to each other In the process of getting Andrena setup in a community, it makes sense to minimize the amount of hardware needed. In ride sharing, users own the cars. In our model, the infrastructure to deliver Internet to your neighbor is owned by the community. Our goal with Andrena and this user-owned network is to create a new sector of the local economy. Food, transportation, etc., are all a part of the local economy, so why not put Internet into that mix? This comes with a layer of complexity because not everyone knows about or has the time to configure networks. Our focus is on eliminating that complexity so that money can flow in the sharing economy. Any average consumer should be able to seamlessly integrate, without knowing about the technicalities, and get rewarded for contributing. . By making it easy for anyone to contribute, we aim to create the ideal conditions where competition increases quality and drives prices down If one local cab company takes the long route every time and charges you a high price, you can go with a different one. If you want to rip off your neighbor, tread carefully because he could easily replace you. We have to remember that we’re facing off against some of the largest titans in any industry. If the community is to beat the ISPs, we have to be fair to each other. fairness Blockchain at the Core Fairness comes at a price, and that’s trust. If you can’t trust the quality of service you’re getting, or the price you’re being charged, then it’s not really a fair system. It’d be ideal if you didn’t have to trust your neighbor at all to still be able to organize with him to form this network. The technology that is at the core of the Andrena network needs to be one that can operate trust. without Andrena uses blockchain — the same technology that powers Bitcoin and Ethereum — at its core to ensure fairness without trust . This network has to coordinate a lot of information (networking, financial, etc.), and everyone needs to agree on the current state of the network. As stated, users shouldn’t have to trust each other to organize together, and blockchain solves that problem. Blockchain Additionally, OISP wants the Andrena network to be something that can endure. If our company falters, how can communities all over the world still provide Internet for each other? What if a community wants to come together to organize their own network and enrich their economy without us? If we are the central authority of all these networks, we can’t give an adequate answer. As a company, we have to relinquish power. We can’t just be a replacement to the ISPs. At a very fundamental level, we have to give power back to our users so that we can do things differently. The needs to be decentralized, just like the infrastructure, and that’s where blockchain shines technology A lot of our articles in the future will be dedicated to the specifics of how blockchain works on Andrena, as there’s a lot of details to explore. One of the biggest areas is its use as a practical medium for financially backed collaborative consumption. Still, there’s a lot of details left out, and here are some of the quick hits. Gateways Some nodes in the network will be gateways to the greater Internet. These are users (or us) that maintain connections to wholesale Internet providers. The price of Internet at this level is much cheaper than what we pay for today via ISPs. much Some Internet sharing models out there rely on using existing consumer ISPs as the gateway. That won’t work here because selling that data is against the terms of service. Installations Wireless devices can be installed on roofs, on windows, or completely out of Line of Sight(LoS). Smaller devices come with window and wall mounts, whereas the larger devices (largest being about 4 feet) are best put on roofs with non penetrating roof mounts. Throughput Verification To verify that nodes are providing their agreed amount of bandwidth a decentralized technique is still needed. We will explore this in much more detail in the coming articles. Security Since we are assuming nodes don’t fully trust each other, we have to account for snooping. While HTTPS solves this issue, users have the option of creating an encrypted tunnel between their devices and the gateway nodes (or even further upstream), ensuring that no one in the middle can see any plaintext traffic. Exclusive Excerpt from by Make Your Bed Admiral William H. McRaven On May 17, 2014, I was honored to give the commencement speech for the graduating class from the University of Texas at Austin. Even though the university was my alma mater, I was concerned that a military officer, whose career had been defined by war, might not find a welcoming audience among college students. But to my great surprise, the graduating class embraced the speech. The ten lessons I learned from Navy SEAL training, which were the basis for my remarks, seemed to have a universal appeal. They were simple lessons that deal with overcoming the trials of SEAL training, but the ten lessons were equally important in dealing with the challenges of life — no matter who you are. Over the past three years, I have been stopped on the street by great folks telling me their own stories: How they didn’t back down from the sharks, how they didn’t ring the bell, or how making their bed every morning helped them through tough times. They all wanted to know more about how the ten lessons shaped my life and about the people who inspired me during my career. This small book is an attempt to do so. Each chapter gives a little more context to the individual lessons and also adds a short story about some of the people who inspired me with their discipline, their perseverance, their honor, and their courage. Start Your Day with a Task Completed The barracks at basic SEAL training is a nondescript three-story building located on the beach at Coronado, California, just one hundred yards from the Pacific Ocean. There is no air-conditioning in the building, and at night, with the windows open, you can hear the tide roll in and the surf pounding against the sand. Rooms in the barracks are spartan. In the officers’ room, where I berthed with three other classmates, there were four beds, a closet to hang your uniforms, and nothing else. Those mornings that I stayed in the barracks I would roll out of my Navy “rack” and immediately begin the process of making my bed. It was the first task of the day. A day that I knew would be filled with uniform inspections, long swims, longer runs, obstacle courses, and constant harassment from the SEAL instructors. “Attention!” shouted the class leader, Lieutenant Junior Grade Dan’l Steward, as the instructor entered the room. Standing at the foot of the bed, I snapped my heels together and stood up straight as a chief petty officer approached my position. The instructor, stern and expressionless, began the inspection by checking the starch in my green uniform hat to ensure the eight-sided “cover” was crisp and correctly blocked. Moving from top to bottom, his eyes looked over every inch of my uniform. Were the creases in the blouse and trousers aligned? Was the brass on the belt shined to a mirrorlike radiance? Were my boots polished bright enough so he could see his fingers in their reflection? Satisfied that I met the high standards expected of a SEAL trainee, he moved to inspect the bed. The bed was as simple as the room, nothing but a steel frame and a single mattress. A bottom sheet covered the mattress, and over that was a top sheet. A gray wool blanket tucked tightly under the mattress provided warmth from the cool San Diego evenings. A second blanket was expertly folded into a rectangle at the foot of the bed. A single pillow, made by the Lighthouse for the Blind, was centered at the top of the bed and intersected at a ninety-degree angle with the blanket at the bottom. This was the standard. Any deviation from this exacting requirement would be cause for me to “hit the surf” and then roll around on the beach until I was covered head to toe with wet sand — referred to as a “sugar cookie.” Standing motionless, I could see the instructor out of the corner of my eye. He wearily looked at my bed. Bending over, he checked the hospital corners and then surveyed the blanket and the pillow to ensure they were correctly aligned. Then, reaching into his pocket, he pulled out a quarter and flipped it into the air several times to ensure I knew the final test of the bed was coming. With one final flip the quarter flew high into the air and came down on the mattress with a light bounce. It jumped several inches off the bed, high enough for the instructor to catch it in his hand. Swinging around to face me, the instructor looked me in the eye and nodded. He never said a word. Making my bed correctly was not going to be an opportunity for praise. It was expected of me. It was my first task of the day, and doing it right was important. It demonstrated my discipline. It showed my attention to detail, and at the end of the day it would be a reminder that I had done something well, something to be proud of, no matter how small the task. Throughout my life in the Navy, making my bed was the one constant that I could count on every day. As a young SEAL ensign aboard the USS Grayback, a special operation submarine, I was berthed in sick bay, where the beds were stacked four high. The salty old doctor who ran sick bay insisted that I make my rack every morning. He often remarked that if the beds were not made and the room was not clean, how could the sailors expect the best medical care? As I later found out, this sentiment of cleanliness and order applied to every aspect of military life. Thirty years later, the Twin Towers came down in New York City. The Pentagon was struck, and brave Americans died in an airplane over Pennsylvania. At the time of the attacks, I was recuperating in my home from a serious parachute accident. A hospital bed had been wheeled into my government quarters, and I spent most of the day lying on my back, trying to recover. I wanted out of that bed more than anything else. Like every SEAL I longed to be with my fellow warriors in the fight. When I was finally well enough to lift myself unaided from the bed, the first thing I did was pull the sheets up tight, adjust the pillow, and make sure the hospital bed looked presentable to all those who entered my home. It was my way of showing that I had conquered the injury and was moving forward with my life. Within four weeks of 9/11, I was transferred to the White House, where I spent the next two years in the newly formed Office of Combatting Terrorism. By October 2003, I was in Iraq at our makeshift headquarters on the Baghdad airfield. For the first few months we slept on Army cots. Nevertheless, I would wake every morning, roll up my sleeping bag, place the pillow at the head of the cot, and get ready for the day. In December 2003, U.S. forces captured Saddam Hussein. He was held in confinement during which time we kept him in a small room. He also slept on an Army cot, but with the luxury of sheets and a blanket. Once a day I would visit Saddam to ensure my soldiers were properly caring for him. I noticed, with some sense of amusement, that Saddam did not make his bed. The covers were always crumpled at the foot of his cot and he rarely seemed inclined to straighten them. During the ensuing ten years, I had the honor of working with some of the finest men and women this nation has ever produced — from generals to privates, from admirals to seamen recruits, from ambassadors to clerk typists. The Americans who deployed overseas in support of the war effort came willingly, sacrificing much to protect this great nation. They all understood that life is hard and that sometimes there is little you can do to affect the outcome of your day. In battle soldiers die, families grieve, your days are long and filled with anxious moments. You search for something that can give you solace, that can motivate you to begin your day, that can be a sense of pride in an oftentimes ugly world. But it is not just combat. It is daily life that needs this same sense of structure. Nothing can replace the strength and comfort of one’s faith, but sometimes the simple act of making your bed can give you the lift you need to start your day and provide you the satisfaction to end it right. Have you ever wondered what your router's LED lights mean? When the internet light is red, there is a problem with our internet connection that needs to be fixed as soon as possible. Our router's lights are either off, blinking, or solid most of the time. The Internet light can be solid red, which means you don't have an internet connection, or it can blink red. After a while, plug the power cable back in. The router should start up on its own. It would help if you only had to wait a few minutes for the LED lights to settle down. Then take another look at the Internet light. Depending on the type of router, it should be either green or blue. 5) No WAN IP Address In some situations, your WAN won't automatically get an IP address.
