Revelation Hackathon Sponsors, Ankr, Celer, and NodeReal Announce BAS Testnet, a BNB Chain Sidechain

BSC Application Sidechain (BAS) Testnet is a framework that enables dApps to create sidechains in the BNB Chain ecosystem. On January 26, 2022, the BNB Chain Developer Community introduced its plans for 2022 in an article titled BNB 2022: Build N'' Build. One of the major tasks on the roadmap was to develop a new BSC Application Sidechain (BAS) for developers, and today we're excited to inform you about the first deployment of this new infrastructure.  BNB Chain infrastructure projects, Ankr, Celer, and NodeReal teamed up to launch the first BAS Testnet and establish a framework for creating sidechains in the BNB Chain ecosystem.  On March 21, we kicked off our global hackathon, a 50-day event jam-packed with online workshops, in-person meetups, and a $10 million prize pool and seed funding for the top contending teams. Developers can access the BAS testnet here. BAS is a next-gen developer infrastructure that enables developers to build large-scale BSC-based applications with increased throughput and significantly reduced or even zero transaction fees.
