NodeJS is an open-source framework used for server-side applications in JavaScript. Node.JS is platform-independent. Node.js can be easily installed and deployed on different platforms, such as Windows, MAC, and Linux. It is based on Google's V8 JavaScript Engine. NodeJS can adopt a single-threaded model with the aid of event looping. NodeJS never buffers data. It can be used to collect form (summary) data and collect data from the server. The NodeJS module is a simple or complex functionality structured in single or complex JavaScript files that can be reused.
