Shai created multiple influential open source projects (bean properties, Codename One, LWUIT etc.) and currently works at Lightrun (production debugging tool) and Codename One (write once run anywhere for Java/Kotlin on mobile). Shai wrote a three of books and is working on the forth, he created several online courses and is a highly rated award winning conference speaker. Before founding Codename One Shai ran a consulting company for over a decade. Worked for many companies including a long stint at Sun Microsystems (the creator of Java). He worked on mobile, embedded, Server and desktop. Also in fields ranging from banking, insurance, government, teleco, gaming, medical, development tools and more.
