Seok-Hee Lee graduated Seoul National University with Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Materials Science and Engineering, later receiving a PhD from Stanford University. He worked with Hynix semiconductor until 1995, moving on to work at Intel for 10 years. He later became an associate professor at KAIST before his career took him to SK hynix once again. There he served as Senior Vice President, later becoming President and COO and eventually CEO. Lee believes semiconductor memories will play a role beyond storing and processing information in the future, as the core of the future ICT world.
