Author of QCObjects (a world-class framework for modern software development that became popular since its exhibition in the RISE Conference in Hong Kong in 2019). Born in August 1982 in Santiago of Chile, Computer Applications Programmer since 1998. He wrote his first program when he was 14 years old. The first programming language he learnt was DBase III plus. He learnt C++, Java, JavaScript and other languages by himself since he was still in school, before to study Electronics Engineering into the Ibero-American University of Science and Technology in Chile. He've coded commercial enterprise applications in Clipper5, C++, PHP, Python, Java, C#, and JavaScript. Jean is also recognised as a poetry writer, as a second passion and a kind of parallel career, he has several self-published books of poetry and hundreds of poems written in Spanish. As he had an entrepreneur soul he had started his first tech company in Chile while he was still studying in early years of university, he failed and almost broke, but he continued to work for other tech companies doing software for the Chilean Government, banks and other financial institutions. In 2008 he was living in Spain and returned to study engineering in the University of Basque Country for a year. After a couple of years back in Chile, he was working as a development manager of two tech companies. Then he started his own tech start-up company called QuickCorp in 2015, but the work was overwhelming, so he resigned to his own company and business and travelled to New Zealand in 2016 to live a backpacker's life for a year. In that year he worked as a volunteer in many different jobs (some for free), with the goal of learning from other people's lives to enrich his soul. When he returned back to Chile and to work in tech industry again, during his spare time, he started to teach English and mentoring about software to people for free. In 2019 Jean exhibited QCObjects in the RISE Conference and many other internacional events. Today, the framework is well-known in about 80 countries around the globe, and Jean is committed full time to develop the main features of QCObjects.
