Norcross holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Arkansas. He began work at Systematics, Inc. as an entry-level programmer before moving on to Alltel Information Services, starting his career under subsidiaries of FIS. He went on to serve in a variety of leadership roles prior to being named president and chief operating officer in 2012, president and chief executive officer in 2015, and chairman, president and chief executive officer in 2018. In March 2021, Gary Norcross appointed a new president of FIS and has transitioned to chairman and CEO.
