Invented by Professor Kulish in a top-secret Ukranian lab during World War 2, Dr. One was meant to serve as an intercom drone to warn civilians of incoming aerial attacks. After the war ended, the invention was scrapped. Prof. Kulish proclaimed "drones will never catch on" before disassembling all Dr. One units and burning the schematics. Little did Kulish know, the original Dr. One prototype had lost connection with the main control tower and flew all the way to the United Stated to an area now known as Eagle, CO. Dr. One landed safely in the McHatten Creek, where it remained forgotten for the next 75 years. One day on a camping trip, the daughter of Hacker Noon CEO David Smooke saw Dr. One's antenna poking out of the ground. Out of curiosity, the Smookes dug and dug until they unearthed the ancient machine. Completely intact, Dr. One quickly powered back to life after its solar panels had soaked up enough sun.
