My interest in blockchain started back in 2016 with the first reported (at that time) ransomware attacks that demanded bitcoin payments from victims. Not a glamorous start, but it made me curious. Later on, I have joined Blockchainers (a University of Manchester company and student-led organization). There, I have organized & coordinated multiple projects, from supporting student entrepreneurship in the tech field with funding, coaching sessions etc., to organizing conferences meant to address gender disparities in the space, coding & educative sessions, connecting students with jobs in the sector and so on. I have graduated as well from The University of Manchester, UK, with a Bachelors of Science degree in Management and Innovation. I'm currently still working in the blockchain space, however I aim to absorb and expand as much as possible into other adjacent fields (cybersecurity in particular).
