Hi! I’m Mariia.

Before now, I started at least 5 startups but didn’t finish any of them for different reasons. Yes, I had a successful startup that I sold, but still, after unsuccessful attempts, I don’t feel confident in business. I kept delaying and always adding something more, and then I was afraid to show it to the world. So, I decided to fight procrastination and use the “quick start” method. Now, I plan to go from zero to launching a product on Product Hunt in one week.

Here’s my simple plan. I have a more detailed plan for each part but I’ll share it later in my articles, tweets, and YouTube shorts. Please follow me if you’re interested.

First week: December 18–24

  • Pick a product to sell. I told I made at least 5 projects, but I left them all. Recently, I created 2 projects and I think I’ll focus on one of them. There are an AI marketplace and a Pomodoro Timer. I need to choose one.
  • Think about why people would buy it. Both products aren’t finished and have problems. I need to decide what special feature selected product will have.
  • Finish the first simple version of the product (MVP).

For promotion:

I’ll promote without spending money because I’m good at it. I had a sucsessful business where most of the sales were made through social media.

Here’s what I will do:

  • Write articles on my website and share them elsewhere.
  • Start using Twitter and make tweets from my articles.
  • Make short videos for platforms (Youtube, TikTok).
  • Build my own website.

Next time, I will share a detailed and specific plan for growing my Twitter following from 0 to over 10,000 subscribers.

Almost forgot, today is the first day of my plan.

Second week: December 25–29

  • Keep promoting: write more articles, grow my Twitter, and make more videos.

  • Finish the first version of the product (MVP).

I plan to take a short break for a celebration and some rest from December 29 to January 7.

Third week: January 8–14

  • Continue promotion: more Twitter, videos, and articles.
  • Get ready to launch on Product Hunt and other similar platforms. I read a lot of materials online and also learned from my friends about their launches. I have a rough plan in my mind, and I’ll create a detailed plan later. Of course, I’ll share that too.

Fourth week: January 15–21

  • Launch the product on Product Hunt and other sites.
  • Look at how it’s going and what can be improved.
  • Fix any problems.
  • Keep promoting: continue with Twitter, videos, and articles.
  • Start selling. Depending on the results, I might list it on app.acquire.com

I have a more detailed plan for each part, but I want to keep it simple for now. I’ll share more in my upcoming articles, tweets, and YouTube content, along with my experiences and learning.
