AWS has released an option of AWS RDS Aurora Serverless for running entire back ends. This article will show you how to hook up a database as a service to a serverless API. It’s agnostic regarding which database provider you use, but the example I’ll show here is with AWS Aurora. It's like serverless but for running an entire back end, you can host and scale apps automagically. We'll use AWS Lambda as the compute service. We'll create a database cluster with Amazon RDS.
