Too Long; Didn't Read

Books are the best resource for sharing knowledge in a not-assisted way. They go deep into a topic, or more briefly over a bunch of them. As a Software Engineer, it was books that prepared me for the Tech Lead role. The Mythical Man-Month by Fred Brooks was first published in 1975 (almost 50 years ago!) and covers software engineering and management topics. The Driving Technical Change by Terrence Ryan is an excellent start for those wanting to manage large teams. The driving Technical Change book is a short (~200 pages) book even though it won’t answer all your questions.
