If Agile is so great, then why isn’t it used at companies like Amazon, Google, and Apple? Is there something they know that you don’t?

The answer to that question is “Yes”.

Moving to Agile is like re-writing your stack using last year’s Javascript standards.

Agile has major flaws, which is why it now losing out to a new, more innovative framework that more accurately reflects the realities of the tech business.

Let me introduce Idle.

What is Idle? The core tenets are contained in the word.

Inform only when necessary, keep communication to a minimum

Delegate all necessary tasks to your team

Lie to avoid confrontation

Enforce enthusiasm. If you’re teammates are stressed out then you need to make it your personal mission to make them feel better

If there’s one thing that can’t be changed it’s conservation of energy. Why do CEO’s send such short e-mails? It’s because they know that time is their most valuable resource. Send short e-mails, write short blog posts, make it to CrossFit on time.
