Meet Spatium

Spatium Logo

Spatium is a web3 wallet infrastructure company revolutionizing crypto wallet development by introducing well-protected user-controlled wallets integrated into businesses through Wallet-as-a-Service (WaaS) SDK.

Our solution, powered by Multiparty Computation (MPC) technology, enables seamless and secure implementation of web3 wallet infrastructure into business applications, empowering users with ultimate control over their crypto assets.

Our goal is to promote the widespread adoption of crypto wallets by providing developer-friendly tools to empower the creation of cloud-based multichain digital wallet solutions in no time.

Our scalable and future-ready architecture ensures efficient wallet operations even during peak usage periods, making Spatium the ideal choice for businesses looking to integrate user-controlled wallets into their processes.

My Role

My name is Vasili Pavlov, and I’m honored to be the CEO at Spatium. My team is on a mission to redefine the crypto wallet industry landscape. We're not just building another wallet SDK; we're revolutionizing the industry of crypto wallet development.

Our team is deeply committed to equipping businesses with powerful tools that simplify the development of user-centric crypto wallets, freeing up valuable resources and the budget to prioritize the creation of exceptional end-user experiences and innovative product features.

How We're Disrupting/Improving the Crypto Wallet Development Industry

Spatium is disrupting the traditional crypto wallet industry which has been recently torn between custodial and non-custodial development. On the one side, non-custodial wallets are highly secured and protected but not very manageable and user-friendly.

On the other side, custodial wallets are much more convenient for users, but if the third party which holds the custody of the wallet is compromised, the access to the wallet and all the digital assets stored there is lost.

That’s why, for the last 6 years, the Spatium team has been trying to solve this dilemma and managed to build a self-custodial MPC-based Spatium wallet app.

Our wallet, which is available in Google Play and AppStore, is extremely user-friendly and as convenient as a hot wallet (custodial), and at the same time, has a high level of protection similar to cold wallets (non-custodial).

We managed to put users in the center of the equation and gave them the freedom to decide who will take custody through trust distribution among several entities.

MPC enables the creation of secrets that could be stored anywhere (several users’ devices, several users, service providers, etc.) instead of private key generation.

From now on, it’s up to users to decide how to tackle their wallet protection issues.

After a while, we felt that it could be a great idea to help other businesses and their customers to join the growing web3 family with our convenient yet highly secured wallet solutions. That’s how the idea of Wallet-as-a-Service (WaaS) originated.

Having hands-on experience in full-cycle crypto wallet development, our team is equally skilled in encrypted SDK development as well as various infrastructure connections.

You know, for a wallet to deliver the required value, it has to be connected through multiple service providers to the blockchain ecosystem.

On average, the majority of WaaS companies offer the SDK only and are not bothered to properly integrate it.

We decided to change it and make it more convenient for businesses. In addition to our wallet-encrypted core - Spatium Wallet SDK, we also offer the required cloud integrations - Spatium Wallet Cloud.

This includes access to the nodes’ service, on-chain data analytics, crypto-to-fiat exchange rates, auth services, biometric backup services, etc.

Just to sum up, Spatium is not only providing an exclusive opportunity for users to take full ownership over their private keys and other data without compromising Intuit wallet interface but also provides a one-stop solution for all crypto things development when businesses can concentrate on their unique businesses goals and get crypto wallet development fully covered.

Standing Out from The Crowd

As I have already mentioned, the WaaS segment is actively developing nowadays, bringing to the market dozens of startups capable of delivering first-class wallet SDKs businesses would like, but I’m sure that our story is exceptional and our voice is getting stronger.

And it’s not only due to our unique Spatium SDK cryptography and powerful Wallet Cloud integrations, but there are also a couple of other reasons for that.

  1. Spatium Wallet SDK is blockchain-agnostic which means that we are providing our partners with multichain support. Right now, there are 10+ blockchains including the most popular ones, and we are constantly adding new ones.

  2. Knowing how hard sometimes crypto wallet management could be for businesses, we opt for cross-platform development. Spatium crypto wallets are available for Android and iOS devices; also, we offer a web app written in Typescript.

  3. Our expertise in crypto wallet development is one of the factors outlining our company. We not only like to build for blockchain, we know how to do it, and the Spatium wallet, built by us, is available and free to download for everyone. Crypto wallet developers would enjoy our comprehensive documentation and the nice company assisting them, if required, of course, at any stage of our WaaS integration.

  4. Spatium WaaS SDK and Wallet Cloud are available for businesses based on a pay-as-you-grow model. We treat small startups and big enterprises equally toward taking the crypto wallet development load off them but differently price-wise. Startups use our solution to grow and develop while enterprises can not only get the SDK but also receive an experienced team of blockchain developers and designers to customize it and build on it.

Our Predictions/Thoughts on the Crypto Wallet Development Industry in 2023

There are several strong tendencies I noticed which are reshaping the crypto wallet development industry nowadays. One is a restless drive toward seeking how to improve the UI and UX of modern crypto wallets.

Mostly, it’s fulfilled through innovative technologies adapted. As an example, I can mention account abstraction. Our team is also looking in that direction and in the nearest future, will integrate it into Spatium SDK.

Another prediction, I would say, is the intensified governmental regulations.

With the growth of DeFi and the changing status of crypto assets from unregulated to governmentally regulated (not everywhere), the requirements the crypto wallet development industry should be compliant with are also growing.

Last, but not least, future-oriented crypto wallets will outgrow the role of just entry gates to the world of web3.

I expect them to gain more functions, i.e., providing users with staking and yield farming integrations, direct access to centralized and decentralized exchanges, and providing the issuing of virtual and physical cards, etc.

What word defines the state of Crypto Wallet Development Industry in 2023?

I think I would like to use two words, actually two phrases, MPC and account abstraction. I strongly believe that these two powerful cryptographic technologies and their interconnection are driving the modern crypto wallet development industry.
