C. The Defendant’s Perjury

Bankman-Fried also obstructed justice by giving false testimony during the trial. Among other things, and as discussed further below, Bankman-Fried falsely testified that he did not know about Alameda spending customer deposits, that he did not know until late 2022 that FTX’s code features were being improperly used to take customer money, and that he thought in November 2022 that his tweets were accurate and not misleading.
