HackerNoon Reporter: Please tell us briefly about your background.

I have a degree in computer science and I have been working in various management positions within the finance industry.

What's your startup called? And in a sentence or two, what does it do?

Enigio is a Stockholm-based deep tech company aiming to become the global technology provider of a standardized solution for freely transferable digital original documents.

What is the origin story?

Our world manages enormous amounts of digital data that is in a constant process of creation and change. Digital information is easy to manipulate and it becomes increasingly harder to judge what is true and what really happened.


Enigio was created to provide tools for the proper and immutable digitalization of any type of data.

What do you love about your team, and why are you the ones to solve this problem?

We are a senior team with diverse skill sets including cryptography, DLT, archival science, and in-depth competence in banking.

If you weren’t building your startup, what would you be doing?

I would like to be a philanthropist.

At the moment, how do you measure success? What are your core metrics?

To become a global name within the digitalization of Trade Finance. Plus the usual ones such as revenue, MRR, CAC, LTV, etc.

What’s most exciting about your traction to date?

A global trade organization (ITFA) is promoting our solution for trade digitalization, the solution is also supported by ICC. We are also partners with global software providers such as Finastra and China Systems.

What technologies are you currently most excited about, and most worried about? And why?

Our own patented solution for digital original documents is based on well-known technologies such as PKI, cryptography, and DLT.

What drew you to get published on HackerNoon? What do you like most about our platform?

I was invited to publish on Hackernoon.

What advice would you give to the 21-year-old version of yourself?

Be bold and dare to do what you want to do.
