If you’re seeing this interview draft, it means you’ve recently published on HackerNoon a story that the community found interesting and/or valuable. For this reason, we would like to help the community get to know you better as well as find out some writing tips from you.

While this template is automatic, our interest in the answers below is genuine and our human editors (and some cyborg wannabes) will review it before publishing.

So let’s start! Tell us a bit about yourself. For example, name, profession, and personal interests.

I’m Eduardo Prospero, an author, freelance writer, and a Bitcoiner. I’m also a failed rapper, you can find my stuff all over the Internet under the name: MC/ DC. It’s in Spanish, though, as is my novel. It’s called “La Tormenta” and you’ll have to do your own research to find it. It’s out there, though. Available to everyone. I’m also extremely interested in meditation and I practice it every day. Unless I’m working crazy hours, which happens from time to time.

Interesting! What was your latest Hackernoon Top story about?

Bitcoin. I’m trying to pivot my career towards Bitcoin. BITCOIN-ONLY.

Do you usually write on similar topics? If not, what do you usually write about?

Currently, I’m only writing about bitcoin. As a freelance writer, though, I’ve written about everything under the sun. Once, I wrote 2000 words about shampoo. True story.

Great! What is your usual writing routine like (if you have one?)

I meditate and then I sit and write, it’s as simple as that. If I get stuck, I go out for a walk. I go out for walks frequently, though.

Being a writer in tech can be a challenge. It’s not often our main role, but an addition to another one. What is the biggest challenge you have when it comes to writing?

Making a living out of it. I’ve been lucky enough to be able to support myself for years by just writing, but finding new clients is always a challenge. I live on the edge and I like it.

What is the next thing you hope to achieve in your career?

My next goal is to transition to writing only about bitcoin. I may have to write about the other cryptocurrencies for a while, though. This bear market has been rough.

Wow, that’s admirable. Now, something more casual: What is your guilty pleasure of choice?

Sugar. The sweets. It’s my worst addiction.

Do you have a non-tech-related hobby? If yes, what is it?

Meditating, writing songs, reading. I wish I had more time, but I’m an immigrant and immigrants got to work.

What can the Hacker Noon community expect to read from you next?

I’ll only write articles about bitcoin. Prepare to get sick of me.

What’s your opinion on HackerNoon as a platform for writers?

I’m a huge fan. I’ve been following the project since the Medium days, and I’m really impressed with what you’ve done technology-wise. This iteration of the site just keeps getting better and better.

It’s worth adding that I wrote this article in 2019 -→ https://hackernoon.com/how-cryptocurrencies-opened-the-doors-for-my-escape-from-venezuela-3b4993773429

And then this one on the same year -→ https://hackernoon.com/the-complete-guide-to-the-petro-venezuelas-attempt-to-dance-at-the-cutting-edgeu-p61e232lz

However, I fucked up and opened three different accounts. I’m a disaster like that. Is it possible for a developer to help me merge my profiles?

Thanks for taking time to join our “Meet the writer” series. It was a pleasure. Do you have any closing words?

Bitcoin is the only thing that matters right now, humanity’s only hope. I will expand on this idea in future articles.

Additionally, the illustration above is an Emiliano Siem original.
